Strange But True

At last, photographic evidence that there can be peace in our house. It's kind of like spotting Sasquatch. But the other night, this occurred:

Yes! Turtle and Sam sleeping on the couch within touching distance. Of course, it only lasted about 5 minutes before they realized they actually don't like each other....

And--despite my mother's misgivings--I painted my torchiere lamp pink, placed it in a room painted orange, green, and yellow, and the world did not implode!

I am going to have the most colorful craft room ever! More pics to come of this room once I have it all together. There's shelves to install and of course, the perfect table to find. Junkmarket here I come!
